Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer/Engineer in Florida to own electrical design across large-scale projects. You will develop layouts, schematics, and isometrics, coordinating with teams from bid through construction. Relocation package is offered for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate has 4–10+ years of experience, strong NEC/IBC/IECC knowledge, and a related engineering degree. Join a national design-build team delivering complex electrical systems with a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 4-10+ years of electrical design, engineering, or construction experience.
• Strong NEC knowledge and familiarity with local codes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, isometrics, and system designs
• Coordinate design solutions while balancing code requirements, constructability, client expectations, and project budgets
• Serve as a technical lead across multiple projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction
• Provide technical direction and support to project and design team members
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, project teams, engineers, and inspecting authorities
• Perform electrical calculations including building service loads, voltage drop, short circuit, and lighting photometrics
• Review designs for compliance with applicable codes and project specifications
• Assist with resolving electrical design and constructability issues throughout the project lifecycle
