Job summary

Newcomb & Boyd, a multi-discipline engineering firm in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design electrical building systems and lead project teams.

You'll develop 2D/3D construction documents in Revit, perform energy modeling for LEED certification, and coordinate with in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners to deliver complex, large-scale projects across healthcare, higher education, science and technology, and corporate sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Seven to Ten years of experience in the Electrical consulting business, (large systems).

Responsibilities

• Support the company with the design of complex electrical systems.
• Lead the preparation of 2- and 3-dimensional construction documents using Revit.
• Prepare documents, calculations, and energy modeling studies for the LEED certification process.
• Lead design efforts working closely with our in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners.
• Plan project production process.
• Lead the performance of contract administration duties of site visits, submittal review and contractor assistance.
• Perform project management of a multi-discipline team of engineers.
