Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Lead Electrical Designer to drive EPC project design for power facilities. You will manage a design team, oversee electrical raceway development, and ensure safety, cost efficiency, and constructibility throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive electrical design experience, and proficiency in 3D design tools, with exposure to power generation projects. Office locations vary; travel as needed is possible.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in electrical design.
• Experience leading electrical design teams.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules.
• Power generation experience preferred.
• Experience in SmartPlant 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of electrical designers in developing electrical raceway systems.
• Manage electrical design activities against project schedule and budget.
• Track and report design progression to project management and other team members.
• Interface with construction to ensure design is safe, constructible, and low cost.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, engineers and construction on the design.
• Check design deliverables for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate with project team using the Project Database and related processes.
• Mentor design team and support project development.
