Job summary

LVI Associates seeks a Senior Electrical Designer in Hollywood, FL. Hybrid options available. You will design power, lighting, and electrical distribution for commercial, institutional, and mixed‑use buildings, and prepare plans, layouts, calculations, and construction documents.

You will lead project coordination, review shop drawings, perform site visits, mentor junior designers, and participate in client meetings to ensure high‑quality deliverables and on‑time project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of electrical design experience in a consulting environment.
• PE license preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Design power, lighting, and electrical distribution for buildings.
• Prepare electrical plans, layouts, calculations, and documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across project phases.
• Review shop drawings and conduct site visits.
• Lead projects as a job captain, ensuring on-schedule deliverables.
