Job summary

LVI Associates in Atlanta is seeking an Electrical Designer or Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. You will work on healthcare, data center, and mission-critical projects from design through construction, with a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 6+ years of electrical design/engineering experience in AEC.
• Experience with healthcare, medical office, data center, or mission-critical facilities preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and/or SKM.
• EIT or PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, grounding, and building electrical systems.
• Prepare electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients throughout project delivery.
• Support construction administration including RFIs and submittal reviews.
• Participate in quality control reviews and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership (senior-level candidates).
