Merrick & Company seeks a Senior Electrical Designer to design power systems for heavy industrial, oil, gas and chemical projects across multiple locations including Chattanooga, TN. The role covers electrical design to drawing level and coordination with the Project Engineer and drafting team.

Responsibilities include lighting design, power distribution, emergency systems, documentation of calculations, and field support. U.S. Citizenship is required for client projects.

Competenze

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 8 years of electrical designing and drafting experience.
• Experience in AutoCAD and Revit.
• U.S. Citizenship required for client projects.

Mansioni

• Design power distribution, panelboard schedules, grounding/protection designs for heavy industrial facilities.
• Provide quality control reviews for self-performed designs and those by others.
• Assist Project Engineer with drafting responsibilities and some design.
• Support construction with RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and field inspections.
