Job summary

Actalent in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Sr Electrical Designer to lead electrical system design for power and industrial projects. You will produce 2D/3D deliverables and ensure drawings comply with codes, standards, and client requirements.

The role requires coordinating with design engineers and other teams to translate concepts into high-quality documents. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with AutoCAD 3D, Aeries CARS, and Navisworks, plus strong communication and project

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years experience overall as an Electrical Designer.
Minimum of 5 years experience as an Electrical Designer for Power Plants.
Experience with Electrical One-lines, raceway, cable routing, and equipment layout design for power plants and boiler applications.
Advanced understanding of AutoCAD, Aeries CARS, and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of electrical system designs for power and industrial projects.
Produce and oversee detailed electrical design for 2D and 3D deliverables.
Review design drawings for quality assurance within scope, budget and schedule.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers and designers in multi-discipline teams.
