Job summary

CV Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our on-site team in Pittsburgh, PA. You will develop detailed electrical designs for large industrial facilities, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and conduit layouts.

You will lead the creation of comprehensive construction documents from concept through construction, ensuring all drawings meet project requirements. You will collaborate with electrical engineers and project managers to deliver accurate design

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop electrical layouts for power distribution, lighting, grounding, conduit systems, and cable trays.
• Create single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and bills of materials.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop accurate design packages.
• Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines to meet requirements and schedules.
• Incorporate client comments and revisions into drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with industry codes and company drafting practices.
• Maintain high-quality drawings with revision control throughout project phases.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Designer to join our expanding team. This is an on-site position based in Pittsburgh, PA. Regular in-office attendance is required, and remote work and relocation assistance are not available for this role. The position involves developing detailed electrical designs for large-scale industrial facilities, including power distribution, lighting systems, grounding, and conduit layouts. You will lead the creation of comprehensive construction documents that support project success from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop electrical layouts for power distribution, lighting, grounding, conduit systems, cable trays, and equipment arrangements.
• Create single-line diagrams, panel schedules, cable schedules, and bills of materials.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop accurate and complete design packages.
• Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines to ensure designs meet project requirements and schedules.
• Incorporate engineering markups, client comments, and revisions into drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry codes, client standards, and company drafting practices.
• Maintain high-quality drawings with proper organization and revision control throughout project phases.
