Overview

Responsible for the design and development of electrical construction plans and specifications for a variety of building and facility types. This role includes designing lighting, power, and low-voltage systems while ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements. The position requires a strong understanding of prime, standby, and emergency power generation systems and the ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions to clients. Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical construction plans and specifications for various building and facility types.
• Design lighting, power, and low-voltage systems in compliance with applicable building codes and NEC requirements.
• Perform electrical calculations including load analyses, short circuit studies, and breaker coordination studies.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams to support successful project delivery.
• Work closely with the Electrical Department staff and report to the Vice President of Operations, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Professional Requirements

• Experience in a consulting engineering environment strongly preferred
