Job summary

Markem-Imaje is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineering Design Technician to test, rework, and debug printed circuit boards and electromechanical assemblies for new product development at our Salem, NH site.

You will build experimental setups and contribute to laser engraving and inkjet printing product designs within a multinational team. The role requires an associate degree and 10+ years of experience with PCB rework, data acquisition, and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum: an associate’s degree and 10+ years of professional experience.
• Experience reworking PCBs and soldering to add or remove components.
• Experience with at least one data acquisition system.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and calibration processes.

Responsibilities

• Debug and design validation of board and system level electronic designs.
• Design validation testing with a focus on electronics for new products.
• Test mechanical, electrical, and optical components and subsystems.
• Document test conditions and results; build prototypes and fixtures.
• Interface with vendors for complex parts; maintain lab equipment.
