Job summary

Hussmann Corporation in the United States is seeking an Industrial Systems Lead Electrical Design Engineer to develop and document complete electrical design solutions for our projects. You will lead schematics, wiring diagrams, sequence of operations, and BOMs, collaborating with customers, manufacturing, and service to own the technical responsibility for industrial projects.

A BS in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of refrigeration/CO2 experience, and AutoCAD drafting are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7+ years refrigeration, heat pump, and chiller engineering experience.
• Experience with CO2 refrigeration designs and controls (trans-critical/ cascade).
• Draft electrical schematics and wiring diagrams in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of power distribution, controls, and PLCs.
• Strong interpersonal communication to extract design intent and translate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on Industrial Systems Engineering projects, adhering to goals and standards.
• Design electrical systems and controls for refrigeration, heat pump, and chiller products (CO2).
• Implement power distribution and control knowledge.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales to meet product requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and EORs to collect component data and requirements.
• Discuss Hussmann products vs competitors and communicate changes across departments.
• Lead NTR Industrial Systems Engineering projects with technical ownership.
