Job summary

SitelogIQ is seeking an Electrical Design Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical design engineers within the Commercial Markets Division. The role focuses on delivering high-quality electrical infrastructure projects across multi-site portfolios, including EV charging, solar, storage, and generator systems.

A PE license is required, and the candidate will act as Engineer of Record when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with ability to obtain others via comity.
• Typically 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience including design review and project delivery.
• Experience leading, supervising, and mentoring electrical engineers and designers.
• Strong experience with commercial, institutional, municipal, industrial, or distributed-energy electrical systems.
• Experience coordinating with utilities and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Ability to travel periodically to client facilities and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers and designers.
• Assign projects and balance workloads based on priorities and complexity.
• Review engineering work and provide actionable feedback.
• Support engineers pursuing licensure and expanded project responsibilities.
• Sign and seal engineering documents as Engineer of Record when applicable.
• Provide technical guidance on utility service requirements, interconnection, permitting, equipment selection, and codes.
