A BS in Electrical Engineering and 7–10 years of related experience are required; a Florida PE license

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
7–10 years of engineering experience in related projects.
Strong knowledge of NEC, Life Safety Code NFPA 101, NFPA 70/70E, IEEE, and IBC.

Responsibilities

Prepare electrical construction documents with drawings, specifications, and reports.
Coordinate designs with clients, architects, and other disciplines to ensure fully coordinated plans.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications; manage changes as needed.
Provide project engineering or project management oversight for designated assignments.
