Job summary

ECF Engineering Consultants is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager based at our West Palm Beach, Florida headquarters to lead building services design across commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential projects.

You will supervise electrical system design from planning through construction and commissioning, requiring strong coordination with architects, mechanical and structural engineers, clients, and PMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7-10 years of related electrical engineering experience.
• PE license preferred, especially Florida PE.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and PM skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and building automation.
• Prepare construction documents, load calculations, and short circuit studies.
• Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Manage projects through permitting, bidding, budgeting, construction, and commissioning.
• Conduct site surveys and field investigations for proper installation.
• Review submittals, invoices, schedules, and construction progress.
• Serve as project engineer or manager with thorough documentation.
