  • Design code‑compliant building power distribution networks, branch circuits, emergency backup generation, lighting controls, and fire alarm/low‑voltage systems.
  • Develop complete, constructible Construction Document (CD) drawing sets conforming to established drafting conventions, client prototypes, and national brand criteria.
Multidisciplinary Coordination & Permitting
  • Coordinate electrical packages with architectural layouts, mechanical/HVAC loads, plumbing equipment, and structural systems to resolve interdisciplinary clashes early in the design cycle.
  • Interface directly with municipal Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and regional utility providers to address plan review comments and secure timely building permits.

  • Software Proficiency: Advanced, hands‑on production proficiency in Autodesk Revit (BIM modeling, circuiting, family parameters) and AutoCAD. Familiarity with electrical calculation and modeling tools (e.g., SKM Power*Tools, ETAP, Visual Lighting, AGi32).
  • Code Knowledge: Comprehensive working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC), Florida Building Codes, ASHRAE 90.1 / COMcheck energy compliance, and standard commercial construction detailing.
