Job summary

ProSource Industries in Texas designs and manufactures switchgear, control panels, and power distribution equipment for OEMs. This role focuses on designing low-voltage switchgear and producing engineering documentation that meets customer specs and industry standards.

You will collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing and Quality, develop BOMs, schematics, and panel layouts, and support fabrication through commissioning, staying current with UL/NEC/NEMA, and driving continuous

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years designing low-voltage switchgear, switchboards, or power distribution equipment.
• Experience interpreting customer specifications into manufacturing-ready packages.
• Knowledge of UL 891, NEC, ANSI, IEEE, and NEMA standards.
• Experience developing BOMs, electrical schematics, panel layouts, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design low-voltage switchgear, switchboards, and power distribution equipment for OEM/industrial applications.
• Create one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Develop BOMs, assembly drawings, and production documentation.
• Ensure designs meet UL, NEC, ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting, and product implementation.
• Maintain engineering documentation, drawing revisions, and design records.
• Participate in product improvements, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current on industry standards, technologies, and best practices.
