Job summary

ProSource Industries is looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Switchboard) to lead the design and development of electrical control panels and switchboards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Grand Prairie, Texas. You will apply Creo-based 3D models, drive DFMA, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust manufacturing concepts.

The role requires hands-on prototyping, design for manufacturability, and strong problem-solving skills with 2–5 years in product development

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required.
2–5 years of experience in new product development engineering.
Minimum 2 years of Creo or similar 3D modelling software.
Strong knowledge of DFM, DFA, and sheet metal design.
Hands-on prototyping experience.

Responsibilities

Leading new product development for electrical equipment (Control Panels and Switchboards).
Create multiple design concepts and perform trade-off studies.
Plan projects including scope, schedule, costs and milestones.
Prepare prototypes for design feasibility evaluation and testing; execute test plans.
Work with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
Create part drawings, BOMs, ECNs related to product development or cost reductions.
