Job summary

The position is hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 remote, located at Aguadilla, PR, with U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• English communication proficiency (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, design, fabricate, modify, and evaluate an electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices, ensuring on-time delivery and quality targets.
• Prepare engineering sketches or specifications to construct, relocate, or install equipment, products, or systems.
• Prepare documentation describing proprietary hardware or software, product development schedules, costs, and performance weaknesses to track progress.
• Perform engineering work and applied R&D to meet quality standards and business objectives.
• Produce products according to specifications using cost-effective methods.
• Requirements capture management and verification for small to medium electronic packaging circuit cards.
• Prepare and present project technical information to peers and internal/external customers
• Analyze and evaluate new or improved electronic components and related subsystems.
• Facilitate project tasks between cross-functional teams to align with objectives.
