Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our Mission Systems team in a hybrid role with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. You will design, verify, and support analog and digital hardware while collaborating across disciplines to meet system requirements.

This position requires a STEM degree and strong English communication. The role emphasizes AS9100 quality practices, troubleshooting, and multi-priority project support in a fast-paced aerospace

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB design tasks including requirements review, schematic development, documentation, basic signal integrity considerations, board stack-up definition, and coordination with layout engineers.
• Support creation of hardware test plans and assist with hardware integration and troubleshooting activities.
• Design, verify, test, and support analog/digital electronic hardware with moderate guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams to help deliver hardware that meets system requirements.
• Follow AS9100 quality processes and contribute to continuous improvement of hardware development practices.
• Communicate technical information clearly in both verbal and written formats.
• Maintain organization, demonstrate initiative, and manage multiple priorities to support project deadlines.
