Job summary

ADM is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop and review electrical deliverables for North America facilities. The role leads technical reviews across HV/MV/LV power systems and interfaces with CAPEX, Operations, and Procurement to deliver safe, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities include FEED and execution-ready packages (FEL 1/2/3), equipment selection, and ensuring compliance with NFPA/IEEE standards. Travel ~45% to sites and vendor shops is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering/design experience in industrial environments.
• PE license (P.E.) or ability to obtain after hire.
• Experience delivering FEL 1/2/3 packages for projects.
• Willingness to travel approx. 45% to operating sites and vendor shops.

Responsibilities

• Review EPC and third-party deliverables for technical correctness and compliance.
• Lead comment resolution cycles and track closure on deliverables.
• Develop FEED-level deliverables: refined SLDs, layouts, equipment lists.
• Design HV/MV/LV systems and perform power calculations and analyses.
• Ensure design aligns with codes (NFPA 70/70E, IEEE) and project standards.
