Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical/Controls Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical and controls projects.

You will prepare plans, specifications, and provide construction administration and site visits while mentoring staff. The role requires travel, PE licensure (or ability to obtain within 12 months), and a bachelor’s degree in electrical/architectural engineering with 12+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering (electrical emphasis) from an accredited college or university.
• At least twelve (12) years of relevant electrical and controls engineering experience.
• PE license in any state.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design of electrical and controls engineering projects.
• Preparing plans and specifications of electrical systems for bidding and construction.
• Providing construction administration and site visits.
• Mentoring staff.
• Coordinating work and communication between subcontractors, teaming partners and suppliers.
