Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical/Controls Engineer to lead electrical and control design on critical projects in California. The role includes preparing bid-ready plans, providing construction administration, and performing site visits.

Travel is required and mentorship of staff is expected to ensure project success. The ideal candidate holds a PE license and a bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering with an electrical emphasis, plus 12+ years of relevant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering with an electrical emphasis.
• At least twelve years of relevant electrical and controls engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license in any state.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of electrical and controls engineering projects.
• Prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction of electrical systems.
• Provide construction administration and conduct site visits.
• Mentor staff and oversee project teams.
• Coordinate work with subcontractors, teaming partners and suppliers.
