Job summary
Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical/Controls Engineer to lead the design of electrical and controls projects in a nationally recognized consulting firm. You will prepare plans and specifications for bidding and construction, and provide construction administration and site visits.
Mentoring staff and coordinating with subcontractors are essential parts of the role. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering (electrical emphasis), 12+ years
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering (electrical emphasis).
- 12+ years of relevant electrical and controls engineering experience.
- PE license in any state.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design of electrical and controls engineering projects.
- Preparing plans and specifications of electrical systems for bidding and construction.
- Providing construction administration and site visits.
- Mentoring staff.
- Coordinating work and communication between subcontractors, teaming partners and suppliers.
- Some travel will be required.
