Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to work on water and wastewater projects. The role involves designing electrical systems, preparing bid-ready plans, and performing power system analyses.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of electrical engineering experience and a PE license. Travel is required, and you will mentor staff while coordinating with teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least six (6) years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• PE license in any state with ability to obtain in other states within six months.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for water and wastewater projects.
• Prepare plans and specs of electrical systems for bidding and construction.
• Perform power system studies and Arc Flash hazard assessments.
• Provide project management or technical leadership on large/complex projects.
• Conduct construction administration and site visits.
• Mentor staff and coordinate work with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage client relationships.
