Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Senior Electrical and Controls Engineer to lead electrical/control system projects across multiple North American sites, including Waterville, OH; Etowah, TN; and Littleton, CO. The role emphasizes design, integration, safety compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will drive project execution from concept through commissioning, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor junior engineers. Travel 40–60% is required, with diverse manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in control systems engineering in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform power and electrical control systems engineering for projects.
• Prepare and review electrical specifications for equipment and processes.
• Provide project management from initiation to completion, including budget, schedule and deliverables.
• Coordinate and oversee supplier/contractor activities on- and off-site, including commissioning and startup.
• Support remote manufacturing facilities for root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Travel 40–60% to North America facilities as needed.
