Job summary

Johns Manville seeks a Senior Electrical and Controls Engineer to lead electrical controls projects across North American facilities. You will scope, justify, design and implement a broad range of capital projects, coordinating internal teams and external partners while meeting milestones and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in control systems engineering, proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI, NFPA 70E knowledge, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or relevant technical field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI applications (including programming).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical controls engineering for capital projects across manufacturing operations.
• Develop, scope, justify, and manage electrical projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external engineering resources and consultants.
• Provide project management and oversight across multiple projects concurrently.
• Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with contracts and standards.
• Travel 40–60% to support project implementations and plant operations.
