Job summary
Leoforce is seeking a Lead Electrical Controls Engineer in Tulsa, OK, to lead electrical design efforts for industrial combustion systems. You will design control panels, schematics, and wiring diagrams, review drawings for issues, and coordinate with project managers and manufacturing teams.
The role emphasizes hands-on design and mentorship of designers and drafters, ensuring code-compliant, fabrication-ready electrical packages with a focus on safety and reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong hands-on experience designing industrial electrical control panels, schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Experience with burner management systems, combustion controls, safety interlocks, or industrial process controls.
- Familiarity with NFPA 85, NFPA 86, and UL 508A standards.
- Knowledge of NEC hazardous-location requirements (Division 1 & 2) and protection methods.
- Experience with industrial safety systems, SIS (Triconex) and Rockwell FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA.
Responsibilities
