Job summary

Kforce is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with PE licensure to lead electrical & I&C design on power distribution projects. You will specify equipment, create control narratives, and develop P&ID EI&C portions for complex facilities.

The role requires five years of design experience, Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, and familiarity with PLC/HMI platforms. On-site Denver area work with strong QA/QC and mentoring responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ABET/EAC accredited or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in good standing.
• Minimum five (5) years of electrical design and/or instrumentation & controls design experience, including NEC (NFPA 70).

Responsibilities

• Select electrical equipment, instrumentation and controls for monitoring and operation of systems.
• Develop power system studies: short circuit, arc flash, load flow, motor starting analysis.
• Produce EI&C portions of P&IDs and design control panels.
