Job summary

AIREKO is seeking an Electrical Superintendent in Orlando to coordinate and manage teams of electricians, carpenters, laborers and operators on commercial projects. You will assign tasks, train staff, ensure quality, implement safety procedures, and solve technical problems on site.

Responsibilities include supervising crews, inspecting progress for safety and specification compliance, reading blueprints, planning material needs, and coordinating with management and contractors to align with

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial construction superintendent experience on projects budgeted from $500K–$10M.
• Strong initiative and organizational skills; effective communication in English; bilingual or some Spanish knowledge preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain good business relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attention to detail and multi-tasking; ability to prioritize workload and plan goals.
• Willingness to travel to Aireko office locations as required.
• Experience with MS Project and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule electricians, carpenters, laborers and operators, managing underground and surface crews and provide daily task instructions/schedule.
• Inspect work progress, equipment and sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
• Read blueprints and specifications to plan materials and procedures; estimate and assign personnel requirements.
• Coordinate with managerial and technical personnel, other departments and contractors to resolve problems.
• Record personnel, production and operational data on forms and reports.
• Prepare sketches or follow blueprints, assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures per plans and local codes.
