B&I Contractors, Inc. is a leading Florida MEP contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee multiple project sites, lead Foremen, and coordinate field teams.

The role ensures schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met while coordinating with PMs and the VDC team. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in the field with supervisory experience, excels in leadership and communication, and is proficient in MS Office and PM software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of field experience, with at least four in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and manpower planning.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and applicable codes (FL).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills across trades and departments.
• Proficiency in scheduling, reporting, and communication tools (e.g., MS Office, PM software).

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of quality, integrity, safety, and teamwork.
• Supervise Foremen and field teams to meet schedules, budgets, and standards.
• Interpret plans and submittals; review drawings for constructability.
• Plan and allocate manpower and resources to maximize field productivity.
• Conduct site visits to assess safety, progress, and quality; resolve issues.
• Mentor Foremen through performance feedback and coaching.
