Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee all electrical activities on construction projects from inception to completion. You will lead teams, coordinate with engineers and managers, enforce safety and quality standards, and manage schedules and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, deep electrical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring compliance with codes and project constraints.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years with a general contractor or 10 years as a trade foreman.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all electrical installations and maintenance on construction sites.
• Develop and implement detailed project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other professionals.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide foremen, journeymen, and apprentices.
• Conduct regular team meetings to align goals and updates.
• Ensure electrical work meets safety standards and client specs.
• Maintain records, reports, and change orders.
• Liaise with other trades for seamless integration of systems.
