Job summary

Matrix Service is seeking a Superintendent for Electrical construction to supervise craft employees and oversee field activity to meet project schedules and safety requirements. The role involves coordinating with multiple crafts, engineers, and safety personnel to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and procedures.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, manpower and material management, and resolving construction issues while maintaining strong communication with HR and safety teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a similar facility with construction technology, methods, equipment, tools and work procedures.
• 1+ years of experience supervising craft employees.
• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling cost control.
• Ability to supervise large groups.
• Excellent oral and written communication; good computer skills including MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise work activities; determine method of construction, safety procedures and requirements, manpower, material quantities, equipment, and schedules.
• Coordinate assigned work with different crafts, departments and/or other contractors.
• Maintain liaison with safety, engineering, estimating and planning to ensure compliance with safety policies, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Assist in resolving construction problems and safety issues.
• Conduct accident investigations with safety department.
