Job summary

Cec Companies is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead on-site supervision for electrical installations on small to mid-sized projects. This role involves coordinating trades, ensuring safety, and managing field operations with a focus on efficiency and compliance.

The position requires a Journeyman Electrician with 6+ years of commercial/industrial experience, and the ability to read prints and manage detailed schedules. Travel as needed and a safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 years or more of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• Must possess all skills of lower rated positions including Foreman, Journeyman, T2, H2.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all CEC field trades on an electrical construction project.
• Jointly perform a working estimate and take-off with the Project Manager.
• Lay out work for subordinate supervisors and lead persons; ensure materials and manpower are prepared.
• Establish work schedules and man-loading charts; coordinate with General Contractor daily.
• Supervise installation of feeders, equipment, switch gear, and panels; ensure safe connections.
• Monitor progress, direct crews, and manage safety and paperwork.
