Job summary

Clear. is seeking a senior leader to oversee a portfolio of major electrical construction projects in the Los Angeles area. The role focuses on financial performance, project delivery, team development, operational efficiency and strong client relationships.

You will bring extensive electrical construction project management experience, lead multiple project teams, drive profitability, review contracts, manage change orders, and coordinate with finance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience within electrical construction.
• Experience delivering commercial electrical construction projects valued at $60 million or more.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, estimating, bid preparation, quantity take-offs, change orders and contract administration.
• Proven ability to manage project financials and profitability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of large scale electrical construction projects with financial targets and delivery objectives.
• Drive profitability through project controls, resource planning, cost management and operational decisions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and apply lessons learned to improve processes.
• Recruit, develop and mentor project management personnel and manage performance.
• Establish project delivery objectives including technical requirements, scheduling, procurement and staffing.
• Review contracts and ensure teams understand responsibilities and deliver accordingly.
• Monitor project progress, address issues impacting cost, schedule, quality or client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with finance for billing, invoicing and contractual payments.
• Negotiate change orders to protect margins and commercial interests.
• Resolve contractual disputes with legal and stakeholders to mitigate risk.
