Job summary

Summit Construction Advisors in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead a portfolio of complex electrical commercial and data center construction projects. You will develop high-performing project teams and drive operational excellence across every phase of construction.

The role focuses on financial success, client relationships, and mentoring Project Managers to deliver outstanding results.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within commercial electrical construction.
• Proven success as a Senior Project Manager managing multiple large-scale electrical construction projects, including commercial projects exceeding $60M, and leading high-performing project teams.
• Data center, mission critical, hospital, or airport experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, budgeting, contract administration, scheduling, and risk management.
• Experience managing complex projects across commercial, mission critical, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, or institutional markets.
• Demonstrated ability to build lasting client relationships and successfully lead project teams through all phases of construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, project delivery, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for multiple commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Drive financial performance through forecasting, cost control, risk management, and operational planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, and project support staff.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and key project stakeholders.
• Partner with operations and field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee contract administration, procurement strategy, change order negotiations, and project execution.
• Review project health, identify potential risks, and implement proactive solutions to protect project performance.
• Support business development efforts by strengthening existing client relationships and contributing to future project opportunities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on staffing, resource planning, and operational strategy across multiple projects.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.
