Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) seeks a Senior Electrical Construction Field Engineer I, II or III to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS). The role provides engineering support for facility and project construction activities, from conception through turnover, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical/science discipline and relevant construction engineering experience in the electrical area.
• High School Diploma/GED and relevant construction engineering or practical construction experience in the electrical area.

Responsibilities

• Provides knowledgeable support and coordination of design/construction to resolve design problems of ranging complexity.
• Performs material takeoff and develops BOMs/MSRs based on issued design and verifies received material for design compliance.
• Performs/supports hazard analyses and develops risk mitigation plans.
• Develops and issues Work Packages, conducts field changes as needed, and maintains current status of packages.
• Supports turnover packages and turnover walks to ensure design compliance and proper documentation.
