Job summary

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) in Aiken, SC seeks a Senior I&C Design Engineer to join the Design Services team on the Savannah River Site. The role focuses on delivering instrumentation and controls solutions that meet DOE standards.

You will develop P&IDs, control diagrams, instrument loops, perform calculations, size instruments, prepare data sheets, review vendor drawings, and provide project and facility engineering support while collaborating on process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with professional engineering experience.
• Knowledge of National Codes and Standards is preferred.
• Experience with DCS and PLC interfaces is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop P&IDs, Control Logic Diagrams, Instrument Loops Drawings, and related drawings.
• Perform technical calculations and size instruments and control valves.
• Develop procurement requirements, specifications, and data sheets.
• Review vendor drawings and perform CGD and design reviews.
• Provide project and facility engineering support and collaborate on process improvements.
