Job summary

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) seeks mid-level to senior engineers based in Aiken, SC, on the Savannah River Site. The roles span Engineer II, Senior Engineer I, and Senior Engineer III, tackling mechanical, chemical, electrical, and nuclear needs per DOE standards.

The team collaborates with senior staff to deliver safe, compliant solutions across facilities. Candidates should have an engineering degree (or current pursuit) and show capability across project engineering, design

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university, or pursuing one with expected graduation by Aug 31, 2026.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university with relevant professional experience.
• Experience with DOE requirements and SRMC processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop conventional engineering and scientific solutions for technical tasks or project objectives.
• Assist in studies, development, testing and analysis of designs, processes, or procedures.
• Support engineers or scientists performing related phases of a program.
• Plan and develop solutions for technical problems and collaborate on improvements to existing processes.
• Serve as primary technical contact on large projects and collaborate with site experts.
