Job summary

Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) seeks a Senior Electrical Construction Field Engineer I, II or III for its Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site. The role provides construction engineering support from concept to turnover, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

Responsibilities cover design coordination, material takeoff, hazard analysis, and field support to resolve issues with workers and supervision, including development of work packages and turnover packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical/science discipline as required.
• Experience in electrical construction engineering or practical construction on site.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering support for conception through turnover of construction activities.
• Reviews design changes and performs material takeoff and BOM/MSR development.
• Performs hazard analysis and develops mitigation plans per site requirements.
• Monitors field activities and supports crafts during implementation; coordinates with QA for surveillance and inspection.
