Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions is seeking a Junior Estimator to support design-build and EPC projects under the guidance of a Lead Estimator. You will help develop cost components, maintain cost databases, and learn quantity take-offs and bid preparation.

You will attend project meetings and site visits, transfer data to digital databases, and collaborate with procurement, scheduling, and engineering teams to ensure accurate estimates and timely bids.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 2 years of project controls or estimating experience with EPC or Construction Only Power Delivery projects.

Responsibilities

• Create spreadsheets to track important customer information and estimates.
• Transfer data from hard copy to a digital database.
• Update customer information in a database.
• Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
• Verify outdated data and make necessary changes to records.
• Prepare final analysis reports for stakeholders to understand data trends.
• Collaborate with procurement, scheduling, and project teams on local bidding efforts.
• Attend project meetings and site visits as required.
• Adhere to internal standards and perform duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
