The role emphasizes analyzing plans, coordinating with teams, and maintaining cost databases.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of estimating experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with HCSS, Bluebeam, and P6 Primavera.

Qualifications

• Two-to-four-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or significant field experience and strong computer skills.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in a senior role.
• Proficiency in software such as HCSS, Bluebeam and P6 Primavera, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyze project plans and specs to determine scope and technical clarifications.
• Collaborate with estimators, DB engineers and operations to gather information for accurate estimates.
• Review subcontractor and supplier bids for competitiveness and compliance.
• Develop and maintain a database of historical cost data for reference.
