Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing is seeking a Commissioning Manager to oversee all electrical testing and commissioning activities across projects.

You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, coordinate with stakeholders, plan testing, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards. The role requires a strong background in electrical systems, project leadership, and a commitment to safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in electrical commissioning with 3+ years in managerial role.
• NICET or CCP certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, testing procedures, and commissioning practices.
• Proven leadership, communication, and client-management skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
• U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning phase of electrical projects from planning through closeout.
• Mentor and manage commissioning engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Oversee testing and validation of electrical systems to meet specs.
• Maintain and submit accurate commissioning documentation.
• Implement quality assurance processes in commissioning.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Serve as main client contact during commissioning.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
