Job summary

Travel to customer sites is occasional; strong knowledge of electrical distribution, documentation, and test equipment is required, with an emphasis on accuracy and clear technical writing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant electrical experience with HS diploma or GED.
• Or 6+ years with an associate’s degree.
• Or 2+ years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Must possess valid/active U.S. Work Authorization.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites periodically.
• Experience with commissioning, inspection, and testing of electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced commissioning specialists coordinating electrical deliverables.
• Prepare and review simple electrical sketches and data sheets.
• Perform basic electrical calculations.
• Review supplier documentation for spec compliance.
• Access guides and standards via department website.
• Apply knowledge of commissioning, inspection, and testing.
• Understand basic power systems including switchgear and relays.
• Write technical documents clearly.
• Travel to customer sites periodically.
