Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC seeks a Commissioning Engineer to perform final testing, startup, and commissioning of low and medium voltage electrical equipment in field and manufacturing environments.

The role requires strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, good technical writing, and the ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally. Responsibilities include coordinating with senior staff, reviewing electrical deliverables, preparing sketches and data sheets, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant electrical experience with HS diploma or GED or an associate's degree with minimum 8+ years or a Bachelor's degree with minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience.
• Valid/active U.S. Work Authorization.
• Experience in commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical distribution equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Commissioning specialist coordinating and reviewing electrical deliverables.
• Prepare and review simple electrical sketches, CX plans, and data sheets.
• Perform basic electrical calculations and review supplier documentation for compliance with specifications.
• Access department guides and standards via the electrical engineering web site.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of commissioning, inspection, and testing of electrical components and systems.
