Job summary

SpaceXAI construction team in Memphis designs, builds, and activates electrical infrastructure—from high-voltage substations to low-voltage racks and BESS—supporting AI-scale compute.

You will work autonomously across projects, coordinating with engineers, contractors, utilities, and internal customers to deliver reliable, high-capacity systems. This is a construction PM and site leadership role based in Memphis, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in electrical engineering or related field (power systems, civil, mechanical or construction mgmt with electrical exposure).
• 5+ years of professional experience in electrical construction, power systems, substations, data-center electrical infrastructure, BESS, or facilities electrical mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of electrical construction projects (HV substations, transformers, switchgear, BESS, data-center power distribution, UPS, gens, LV systems) with on-time and under-budget delivery.
• Manage multi-discipline electrical construction projects in field and office; act as construction PM and owner.
• Perform project control tasks including scheduling, cost control, and commissioning coordination.
