Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer/PM to design, build, and activate advanced electrical infrastructure for Memphis operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or related field (civil, mechanical, or construction management with strong electrical experience also considered).
• 5+ years of professional experience in electrical construction, power systems engineering, substations, data-center electrical infrastructure, BESS, or facilities electrical management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and own the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects (high-voltage substations, transformers, switchgear, BESS, data-center power distribution, UPS, generators, and low-voltage systems) with on-time and under-budget delivery.
• Manage multi-discipline electrical construction projects in field and office; act as overall construction PM and owner.
• Perform project control tasks including scheduling, cost control, and commissioning coordination.
• Interact with electrical contractors, fabricators, OEMs, utilities, and internal customers.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field for HV, MV, and LV systems.
• Provide budgetary costs based on preliminary electrical scope.

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or related field (civil, mechanical, or construction management with strong electrical experience also considered)

PE License (electrical)

Large-scale electrical construction project management

Jurisdictional permitting, interconnection, environmental knowledge

Electrical disciplines knowledge (HV, MV, LV, BESS, UPS)

Estimating, cost control, scheduling, commissioning

Shop drawings, one-lines, protection schemes reading/review

Data center, BESS or large-scale facility experience
