Job summary

Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and manage eLearning courses and video scripts for CDC projects. The role emphasizes ADDIE-based design, accessibility, and LMS delivery, with ongoing collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 4-7 years of experience.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.
• Skilled in adult learning principles, learning methodologies, knowledge of eLearning content authoring tools and processes, and experience using LMS.
• Strong project management, project coordination and prioritization skills.
• Ability to recognize client needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills.
• Capable of taking direction and being adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Develop eLearning course outlines using the ADDIE model with multiple drafts and final versions per course, targeting 6-8 courses per year.
• Create eLearning storyboards including content, graphics, interactions, and assessments.
• Develop job aids, self-study guides, and accessible materials aligned to Section 508 standards.
• Develop or review video scripts for voiceover in eLearning courses.
• Participate in reviews and pilot tests and implement recommended changes.
• Program Section 508-compliant eLearning courses in Captivate, Lectora, or similar tools.
• Produce education resources that meet CDC and DLS branding and accessibility standards.
• Upload trainings to CDC-approved LMS platforms and manage publication.
• Respond to reviewer comments within 2 business days.
