Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to support the NA-90, Office of Infrastructure contract with NNSA. The role focuses on building a professional development and training program across the organization.

You will identify knowledge gaps, design and deliver training sessions using Articulate 360, Adobe, Canva, and LinkedIn Learning, and contribute to the evolution of the learning ecosystem with a strong emphasis on instructional writing and security awareness.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience developing education or awareness content, brand management, or strategic communications.
• Education and/or experience in adult learning, training development, or related field.
• Strong interest in national security and related work.
• Experience with scripts, presentations, storyboard e-learning, and structured exercises.
• Advanced instructional writing across multiple mediums.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with subject-matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Identify goals, audiences, gaps, and logistical issues for learning and development.
• Establish professional development framework and core competencies.
• Articulate learning objectives, select delivery methods, and execute internal training.
• Lead internal asynchronous training projects through design to launch and measure outcomes.
• Utilize learning tools (Articulate 360, Office, Adobe, Canva, LinkedIn Learning, Swift Polling).
• Support management of the corporate training budget and annual development plans.
• Coordinate with NA-MB to acquire training and register through Learning Nucleus.
