Job summary

Job Description

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a professional-level Senior eLearning Support Specialist to join eLearning Support in Academic Technology, a unit within UFIT.

UF Information Technology (UFIT) enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using HiPerGator.

Within the immediate team, e-Learning Supportprovides assistance tofaculty, staff, and students with e-Learning tools on campus, such as Canvas, VoiceThread, and Qualtrics. Assistance is provided via phone and ticket systems. Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community.

The Senior eLearning Support Specialist will work alongside other members of the eLearning team to support, grow, and mature the eLearning environment at the University of Florida. This position will work with faculty, staff, and students to promote the use of existing tools, resolve issues or obstacles, and evaluate potential new solutions. Additionally, the Senior eLearning Support Specialist fulfills various roles in internal operations enhancing communication, documentation, and education.
