University of Florida Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking an entry level IT Application Developer to join the Applications, Development and Integrations Team on the Gainesville campus.
You will participate in the full software development life cycle, meet with analysts to gather requirements, design solutions, develop code, test, and document ERP enhancements. Strong SQL and relational database skills are required, with experience in at least one object-oriented language.
Associate's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

You will perform enhancements and help maintainexisting applications. You must have excellent communication skills, keep current with the latest trends inapplication development and have a history of producing quality work.
Qualified candidates will have working experience with one or more programming languages as well as SQL (structured query language) and database design.

$61,000-$67,000; commensurate based on education and experience.
